Reliance Jio's has launched a special work from home plan with 2GB data per day with validity of 51 days. This plan is only for the Internet services and doesn't not provide any call or SMS benefits.
Users will avail high-speed data up to a total usage limit of 120 GB. After that, browsing speed will come down to 64 kbps — speeds at which one can browse the net but can't stream videos. BSNL's new plan is for landline users, and provides subscribers free internet up to 5 GB.
Jio's new scheme is similar with those of ACT Fibernet and BSNL that were introduced a few days ago.
In comparison, ACT Fibernet's plan gives customers unlimited data at 300 Mbps speed until March 31, the last day of the lockdown as originally planned.
