Reliance Jio has announced the launch of "Jiogigafiber". We earlier reported, the launch of Reliance Jio FTTH Home Broadband services here last month. With this launch Jio has started another war in the broadband market for their rivals like Airtel, BSNL etc.
Reliance Jio is offering the registration for Home Broadband services from 15th August. They will be launching it through 1100 cities initially.
Jio GigaFiber consists of the GigaFiber router along with the Jio GigaTV set-top box. The set-top box will allow users to make video calls to other GigaTV devices or mobile connections on any network in India.
Registrations for Jio GigaFiber will start from August 15 from the MyJio app and Jio.com. Jio has also announced that the priorities of the roll-out of Jio GigaFiber in localities based on the interest it has received from registrations.

- Subscribers of Jiogigafibre can use voice commands on a microphone-enabled TV remote to access Jio apps such as Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio TV Call
- Users can call every other TV that is powered by Jio GigaFiber.
- Users can also call a mobile or tablet connected to every network.
