It is rumored that Facebook is working on a TV service to rival Netflix. It also said that Facebook is launching this services by beginning of June itself. Through Facebook Tv, original full length shows and small clips which would be refreshed on daily basis will be played.
The service will be launched with more than 20 new full-length shows, as well as a number of shorter five to ten minute episodes that will be refreshed daily, according to reports in Business Insider.
Facebook is looking after video and live Tv services in order to boost the revenue by engaging users especially younger generation more on its social platform.
Facebook wanted to remain competitive in an increasingly video-driven online world against the rivals like Snapchat, YouTube and Amazon.
