Bad news for Reliance Jio Prime Subscribers. Telecom Regulator TRAI has forced Reliance Jio to withdraw their "Prime Summer Surprise Offers".
Under Summer Surprise plan that offered three months of free services to a user who paid an initial fee by April 15.
Decision by TRAI has given a big relief to other telecom players like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular especially to AirTel.
There are 72 millions Jio users already have recharged for their Prime Offers.
Jio were offering three months of complimentary services with the recharge of Rs 303. All Jio Prime members making their first recharge payment of Rs 303 (or more) by April 15 got three months of complimentary services. Jio already had announced Prime membership on February 21 for a one-time fee of Rs 99.
The membership, available for one year, gave customers the option to choose from multiple data packs starting from Rs 149.
