Another Blow to AirTel and other telecom companies in India. Reliance Jio is offering International call at just Rs 3 per Minute.
Jio offer for International calling is one of the cheapest international calling plans for all their customers.
Now, with a special plan of Rs 501 , users can call international destinations for as Rs 3/ minute. Name of Jio International rate cutter plan is ‘ISD Cutter’.
Under ISD Cutter plan for most of the countries, the tariff drops to Rs 3/minute .The list of countries include USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, French Guinea, Hong Kong, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Mongolia, Morocco, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, and Taiwan and many more.
Meanwhile, Rs 4.8/minute would be charged for countries such as Argentina, Denmark, France, Israel, Japan, Pakistan, South Korea.
Calling to China and Mexico would be charged Rs 5 per minute, while calls to Russia, South Africa, Turkey, Netherlands would be Rs 7.2 per minute.
This is to remember that without rate cutter the international call would be charged at Rs 15 to Rs 100 per minute, based on the location.
