It's Jio effect on Airtel, confirms no roaming charges on all incoming calls, messages and data from 1 April. India's second largest telecom provider, AirTel has announced a week after Reliance Jio "Free Roaming Charges".
Airtel also announced that there won’t be any data roaming charges.Home data packs for customers will apply even while they roam across India.

About International Roaming charges, Companies has confirmed that, Starting 1 April, customers on international roaming without a pack will be given benefit through an automatic adjustment that is equal to the daily pack for that particular country. This enables the pack at the moment a customer’s billing reaches the price of a one-day pack for the country, he/she will be automatically moved to that pack.
